Turmeric planting is expected to pick up gradually as good rains in growing areas of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu states. Demand for turmeric has remained low for the poor quality produce. Latest reports indicates that stockists still releasing stock and this is keeping pressure on the turmeric prices, according to the analysts.
