This year India`s turmeric production in key growing area will be higher on account of favorable weather condition and good crop growth, according to the Agriculture Experts. Major turmeric producing states in India are Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. The major spot markets of turmeric are Sangli, Vai, Erode and Nizamabad.
