Turmeric| The prices of turmeric were increased

The prices of turmeric were increased at Erode spot markets due to quality arrivals. The sale of turmeric as well as the price was up due to the arrival of quality product in the markets. The hybrid finger varieties fetched Rs 8,500 per quintal. The local finger variety of turmeric was sold at Rs 8,100 and the root turmeric fetched Rs 7,600 per quintal.
