The price of the spot turmeric increased at Erode market (Andhra Pradesh). The traders are keen in buying the quality turmeric. The traders, quoting increased price of Rs 9,800 to 10,500 per quintal for Salem Hybrid Turmeric. The traders are having very limited upcountry demand, but buying huge quantity to stock the same, according to the analysts.
