Spot turmeric prices were decreased at Erode markets due to want of demand. Traders are waiting for fresh demand from North India, so the traders are buying very limited but quality stock. Unfortunately only medium quality turmeric is arriving in the market and the sales were only 55 per cent, according to the traders from Erode market.
