Spot turmeric prices remained stable at Erode markets despite a spike in futures prices of the spice. The prices were stable and no improvement in sales and price was seen, said the analysts. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association, the finger turmeric fetched Rs 7,677-8,823 per quintal; the root variety Rs 7,411-8,355.
