As on 14th September, In Telangana Turmeric has been sown in an area of 45633 hectares as compared to 40830 hectares sown at the same time last year. Normal in season area under Turmeric is 48083 hectares in the state. Turmeric prices are trading steady at major markets on expectations of higher production in the Kharif 2016/17.
