India’s total turmeric production in the range of 50-52 lakh bags in the current year, down 20 lakh bags from the last year’s production. With demand from North India and expected rise in export demand in the coming weeks, the down trend can be limited. Demand is expected to pick up in coming days, lending some support to the prices.
