Major turmeric producing states in India are Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. The major spot markets of turmeric are Sangli, Vai, Erode and Nizamabad. This year India`s turmeric production in key growing area will be higher on account of favorable weather condition and good crop growth , according to the Agriculture Experts.
