Indian turmeric futures fell due to new crop arrival in the spot markets and availability of enough stocks. A fall in turmeric area in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka states  due to cyclone in October amidst delayed Monsoon could affect production adversely. Harvesting of the new crop picks up in the Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states.
