Improved progress of Monsoon towards growing states of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu kept trend weak for Turmeric. There is lack of sufficient upcountry demand; hence the stockiest are procuring only 40-50 percent of the turmeric. The upcountry exporters are expecting fresh good orders for turmeric by mid-July or August.
