At the Erode market, turmeric prices were increased slightly on the back of local demand. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association, the finger variety was sold at Rs 7,219-9,209 per quintal; the root variety Rs 7,099-8,469. Turmeric prices will increase in coming days on account of the decline in suply and on good demand.
