At Erode turmeric market, turmeric prices were up as traders received fresh demand from North India. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association sales yard, the finger variety turmeric was sold at Rs 4,699-7,714 per quintal; the root variety at Rs 4,599-7,139. According to traders, turmeric prices were again up in coming days.
