At Erode spot market, turmeric prices were decreased for want of upcountry demand. Turmeric prices have decreased by Rs 500 per quintal in the last 15 days, said the traders from Erode market. Buyers received one or two upcountry orders and are reluctant to buy more quantity as they feel prices may decrease further.
