At Erode spot market, turmeric prices were decreased by Rs 300 per quintal due to an increase in arrivals. The price of the finger variety was down Rs 300 per quintal and the root variety by Rs 150. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association, the finger variety went for Rs 8,478-10,309 per quintal and the root variety Rs 8,014-9,589.
