At Erode market, due to the medium quality turmeric arrivals, traders quoted decreased price and procured all the bags. Regarding the price of the commodity, the new turmeric decreased by Rs 650 per quintal and the root variety by Rs 800. But the old finger variety turmeric was up Rs 400-900 while the old root variety turmeric by Rs 900.
