Tur| The first tranche of tur (redgram) dal imports

The first tranche of tur (redgram) dal imports arrived at Chennai and JNPT ports last week, according to the Food and Consumer Affairs Ministry. The shipments of 888 tonnes and 984 tonnes arrived on September 23 and 24, respectively, and were being allocated to the States, in the accordance with their requests.
