In its 3rd Advance estimates for 2016/17, Maharashtra Agriculture Department has said that it has produced 20.35 lakh tonne tur, 17.77 lakh tonne Chana, 3 lakh tonne Moong and 2.5 lakh tonne Urad. Agriculture department has increased tur production estimated from 11.71 lakh tonnes (2nd advance estimate) to 20.35 lakh tonnes in third advance estimates.
