Downtrend continued in tur or pigeon pea prices on account of weak buying support with tur (Maharashtra) being quoted at Rs 10,000 per quintal, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at Rs 7,500-8,500 per quintal at Indore spot market. Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra are the major tur (pigeon pea) producing states in India.
