Agriculture Ministry has decreased its Tur and Urad production estimates for 2017/18. It has set production target for tur at 42.5 lakh tonnes against 46 lakh tonnes last year. In case of Urad, it has been set at 26 lakh tonnes against 29.3 lakh tonnes including kharif and Rabi both.
