The Karnataka Sugarcane Association has said that it will give a call to the growers not to cultivate sugarcane in the conference to be held in Mysuru on July 5, if the Union government fails to revise the FRP. The Union government had fixed the FRP at Rs. 2300 per tone while the estimated cost of Sugarcane cultivation is Rs. 3,080 per tone.
