The Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) has pegged the Maharashtra state's 2014-15 sugar output at record 9.3 million tons, up from 7.7 million tons produced in last season. Sugar mills in Maharashtra have produced 2.07 million tons sugar till Dec. 15 in the new season started from October 1 said, the state's sugar department.
