The Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) has pegged the Maharashtra state's 2014-15 sugar output at record 9.3 million tons, up from 7.7 produced in last season. Sugar mills in Maharashtra have produced 2.07 million tons sugar till Dec 15 in the new season started from October 1, according to the state's sugar department.
