The Australian Sugar Milling Council (ASMC) says that the 2015 crush in Queensland of 32.654 million tons was the best since 2006 and reflected a mix of another small increase in the area under cane and improved productivity resulting from the ideal growing conditions in the far north and an emergence from drought conditions.
