Sugarcane| Sugar prices were ruled steady at spot

Sugar prices were ruled steady at spot and futures markets on routine demand-supply and activities. Sugar prices remained at par with Maharashtra in other centres keeping upcountry demand away from here. At Vashi spot market, sugar prices fin the market for S-grade were Rs 2,400-2,520 per quintal and Rs 2,500-2,600 for M-grade.
