Sugar prices continued to trade down on sufficient availability due to government policies on stock limits and export. Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution said in a note that there is enough stock to meet domestic consumption. The production of Sugar is estimated at 25.1 mt in 2015-16 against a demand of 25.5 mt.
