Sugar prices at the Vashi spot market were gained further by Rs 10-15 per quintal tracking firm trend at upper level. Producers sold the commodity at Rs 30-50 higher on increased festival demand. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade Rs 2,466-2,592 per quintal and M-grade Rs 2,546-2,682 per quintal.
