Sugar prices are trading firm on expectation of physical demand from industrial buyers. However adequate supplies are expected to check sharp rise. Production of sugar is estimated at about 25.1 mt in the current season while demand is about 25.5 mt. Ministry of Consumer Affairs, said that there is enough stock to meet the domestic requirement.
