Since the beginning of the season through end-Oct, total cane crushed in Brazil amounted to 21.2 million tones, up 9% year on year, data from the Agriculture Ministry showed on 12th of November. Sugar production amounted to 842,000 mt, up 15% year on year while ethanol output totaled 1.02 billion liters, up 13% year on year.
