Sugarcane| Indian sugar production has recorded an increase.

Indian sugar production has recorded an increase of 2.18 million tonnes at 16.70 million tonnes as on February 15, 2015. During same period last year, sugar production was recorded at 14.52 million tonnes, Indian sugar Mills Association said in a statement. In UP, 118 sugar mills were in operation and they produced 4.22 million tonnes.
