India will continue to produce excess sugar for the sixth consecutive year in 2015-16 with just 1% decrease in production expected over previous year, according to the estimate of Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA). ISMA is projecting about 280 lakh tons of sugar for the season 2015-16, which is about 3 lakh tons less than last year.
