Global sugar supplies are tightening as mills wind down cane crush in the centre-south of Brazil, forcing buyers in world market to pay shrinking discounts to futures. European traders quoted Brazilian raw sugar for December shipment at 61-63 points below ICE March futures, signalling a tightening of supplies in first quarter of 2016.
