Due to rise in temperature and humidity in key sugarcane producing states of India, there is possibility of incidence of early shoot borer on sugarcane crop. Farmers are advised to continue the planting of sugarcane in the northern states of the country utilizing the realised and expected rainfall, according to the Agriculture Experts.
