Due to rise in temperature and humidity in key sugarcane producing states of India, there is chance of incidence of early shoot borer on sugarcane crop. Farmers are advised to continue the planting of sugarcane in northern states utilizing the realised and expected rainfall, according to the Agriculture Experts.
