Brazil's main center-south sugarcane crush surged under clear skies in the second half of July to 49.44 million tones, falling in the top end of expectations of around 44 million tones to 49 million tones. Mills in the region crushed a disappointing 29.3 million tones in the first half of July due to wet weather while 35.99 million tones a year ago in the second half of July.
