Brazil's center-south sugar mills crushed only 29.58 million tonnes of cane in the first half of September, well below the 47.26 million tonnes processed in late August. Brazil's main cane growing region produced 1.68 million tonnes of sugar in the first 15 days of September, versus 2.84 million tonnes in the second half of August.
