Brazil's center-south region will produce 31.80 million tonnes of sugar in the 2015-16 crop year, down from 31.99 million tonnes seen in the previous season, cane industry group Unica said. Unica estimates the center-south region, which accounts for 90 percent of Brazil's cane production, will crush 590 million tonnes of cane in the current season of 2015-16.
