Brazil's center-south region will produce 31.80 million tonnes of sugar in the 2015-16 crop year, down from 31.99 million tonnes seen in the previous season, cane industry group Unica said. Unica estimates the center-south region, which accounts for 90% of Brazil's cane production, to crush 590 million tones cane in 2015-16.
