As per reports, in order to keep the sugar prices in check ahead of festival season in the country, Government has directed sugar mills not to hold over 37% of total sugar available with it during the 2015-16 sugar season (Oct.-Sept.). Further holding limit should not exceed 24% of sugar available with mills during the 2015-16 season.
