According to the Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA), sugar production has picked up in full swing in key producing states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka. It is expected that central government will very soon announce continuance of the incentive scheme from this month onwards.
