United States soybean plantings will far exceed government forecasts, setting a record high by a distance, as farmers squeezed by low crop prices switch away from corn, according to a survey by brokerage Allendale. Allendale, after a survey of growers in 30 states, forecast US soybean seedings this spring at 86.05 million acres.
