The Soybean Processors Association of India has put total country’s production in 2016/17 at 108.789 lakh tons as against 69.288 lakh tons on 2015/16. This year, Soybean production in Madhya Pradesh, one of the largest producer in the country, has pegged at 55.863 lakh tons as against 34.125 lakh tons a year ago.
