The Soybean Processors Association has estimated that area under Soybean may decrease by about 3-5% as compared to previous year. The Soya acreage for last Kharif 2015 stood at 110.65 lakh hectares. The total output has been estimated at 85-90 lakh tonnes as compared to the previous year's 70 lakh tonnes by the Solvent Extractors Association of India.
