The SOPA has raised the estimate for 2016-17 soybean output in the country to 115 lakh tons from 109 lakh tons estimated earlier. The Spot prices have dropped below the MSP in some places in states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. The harvesting of Soybean is in full swing and supplies are strong in the physical market.
