The production of soybean estimated down by 17.8 lakh tonnes to 85.9 lakh tonnes compared to last years' production of 103.7 lakh tonnes. For the Kharif 2016-17, Soybean acreage are up by 2.7 percent as compared to corresponding period of last year. Soybean acreage is 109.16 lakh hectares till July end for the Kharif 2016-17.
