The governments of Canada and Manitoba are investing more than C$443,000 in research to support the growth and sustainability of Manitoba's soybean sector. Last year, nearly 1.3 million acres of soybeans were grown in Manitoba, making it the third most commonly grown crop after canola and wheat, said the Agriculture Ministry.
