Soybean oil and soybean have been witnessing a rally in local mandis on weak availability of seeds with the crushers and higher futures. Even as harvesting has already started, farmers are unwilling to release their stock at the current rate, leading to a sharp rise in prices of soybean. At Indore, prices were upto 3,600 per quintal.
