Soybean is the major kharif-oil seed crop in India. Largely attributed to the timely onset of the monsoon in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, which collectively account for 90% of soybean output of the country, experts are worried that the dry spell over the last three weeks could cause output to decline, but good rain in last 3-4 days in MP may revive sentiment.
