China imported 9.12 million tonnes of soybeans in December month, the second highest monthly level on record and taking total 2015 imports to a record high of 81.69 million tonnes. Soybean imports were up 6.9 percent in December on a year ago, while shipments rose 14.4 percent during the 2015, reflecting strong demand for soymeal.
