As per United States Department of Agriculture, global Soybean production in 2016/17 at 346 million tonnes, which overtook the previous high in 2014/15 of 319.6 million tonnes. This exceeds last month forecast by 5.2 million tonnes due to higher crop estimated for Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and South Africa.
